Using A Treadmill To Stay Fit Is A Bother, But Only In Till You Get The Hang Of It

Those with a treadmill at home are blessed with an option of keeping their weight under control. Using a treadmill regularly is known to be quite effective when it comes to losing weight.

Running is believed to be the most effective way to lose calories. But running on the ground can be something impractical considering the lack of space we are confronted with. So, in comes the concept of a treadmill and it is the ideal way to lose weight if you are thinking of running your way to  fit body.

You can effectively manage the speed with which you are going to run wile on a treadmill. You can even get an idea of the distance traversed while on the treadmill. The ideal speed for an average man or woman weighing 160 pounds is 5 miles per hour if the aim is to get rid of 600 calories every hour. You only have to manipulate the speed if you want to shed more calories on the treadmill. Boost the speed to 8 miles per hour if you want to give up 800 calories in an hour.

The most important point to be borne in mind when you opt for a cardiovascular exercise to keep yourself fit is that you must keep up the exercise at all costs. The problem with most of us is that we tend to give up working out after the first few rounds simply because we feel we cannot bear the strain.

The strain is only a part of the novelty. It fades away as soon as the novelty fades off. If you are bent on being healthy, fit and fine, be sure to keep up the exercise. Continue using the treadmill, or any sort of exercise for a lifetime to get assured and long-term results.
